Manufacturers' Sales Agency

Simon Perrott Agencies is a business which operates as a manufacturer’s agency.  We are members of the Manufacturer’s Agents Association and IUCAB, the International Union of Commercial Brokers and Agents.

Our business was established in 2001 and has gained a good reputation as a technically biased sales agency representing good quality, well established manufacturers in the West Midlands region of the UK.

Manufacturer’s agents work as self-employed sales representatives.  We promote and sell the equipment supplied by the companies that we represent and are paid a commission on those sales.  Our sales and promotional services that we offer to you, our clients and customers, are free of charge.

Our products are normally supplied to the electrical contractor via an electrical wholesaler who buys direct from the company we represent.  This arrangement means that electrical contractors can trade with their supplier, the wholesaler, on their normal credit terms whilst enjoying the most competitive pricing we can offer.

As a sales agent, the manufacturer does not pay a salary, provide a vehicle or have to pay expenses; our income is derived from sales commission alone.  If we don’t sell, it costs him nothing.  For this reason professional sales agents can reduce the fixed sales overhead costs of manufacturers, savings which can then be passed on to you, the customer.
